JUNIOR (2002-03): Saw action in all 28 games, starting 27...led team in time played averaging 30.9 minutes a contest... scored in double-figures in nine games including a career-high 18 points against Wyoming (Nov. 22)...followed that up with an 11-point effort at Montana State (Nov. 25)...also dished out a career-high six assists against the Bobcats...scored 17 points in the win over California (Feb. 13)...tied a career-high with three treys against the Golden Bears...grabbed a career-high eight rebounds on two occasions (Jan. 18 at California, Jan. 25 vs. Oregon)...posted a career-high five steals at Arizona (Jan. 9)...earned an All-Pac-10 Academic First Team selection.
SOPHOMORE (2001-02): Played in all 29 games, starting 11...averaged 18.3 minutes, 3.6 points and 2.2 rebounds a contest...scored a career-high 17 points on a career best six field goals at Idaho (Dec. 5)...recorded 12 points at BYU (Nov. 24)...dished out a career-high five assists versus Stanford (Jan. 17)...scored eight or more points on four other occasions...played a career-high 38 minutes at Hawaii (Nov. 17)...earned All-Pac-10 Academic Second Team honor...selected outstanding sophomore by the biological systems engineering department.
FRESHMAN (2000-01): Missed last 10 games of season due to a left ankle sprain suffered in practice...prior to injury, had started four consecutive games...saw action in 11 games averaging 9.5 minutes a contest ...averaged 2.1 points and 1.5 rebounds a game...in first career start against Oregon State (Jan. 18) played 27 minutes scoring four points and tying a season-high with five rebounds...playing in her hometown of Missoula, Mont., pulled down five boards in only seven minutes of action versus Samford at the Lady Griz Holiday Classic (Dec. 29)...scored a season-high eight points playing a season-high 28 minutes in her final game of year at Stanford Jan. 27...earned team's most improved award.
EGELAND'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: Earned varsity letters at Sentinel High in basketball (four), track (four) and volleyball (three)...coached by Pete Hasquet...a seven-time Academic All-State selection...was a member of a squad that finished second in state in basketball during her SOPHOMORE year...in addition, was an all-division track selection...as a JUNIOR was a basketball all-conference selection...also honored as an All-State and all-conference selection in volleyball...earned an All-State and all-conference selection as a SENIOR in basketball as well as a volleyball All-State and all-conference and an all-division track selection...key component of team that finished fourth in state and won the Western Conference basketball championship...finished basketball career averaging 13 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists a game...completed high school career as a member of teams that finished with a 79-15 overall record...selected to play in the Montana versus Wyoming All Star Game.
