HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned eight varsity letters at Bainbridge High...two letters as a tight end and defensive end for football coach Andy Grimm...two letters as a center for basketball coach Scott Orness...four letters for track coach Grimm...earned football All-Metro League honorable mention accolades at tight end as a senior...in track, sophomore year placed third in discus at the Metro Championships...junior year won Metro Championships discus and won 3A Sea-King District 2 Championships...went on to place fifth in discus at the 3A State Championships...as a senior at Metro Championships was runner-up in shot put at the Metro Championships and threw PR of 47-2 1/2 for fifth place at 3A Sea-King District Championships...won Metro League discus title with PR throw of 166-3 and repeated as district champion...placed sixth in discus at 3A State Championships.

PERSONAL. Born in June 1994 in McMinnville, Oregon....father Greg is an electrical engineer...mother Susan...younger brother Casey...both parents are 1990 WSU graduates...grandparents Ken and Helen Brink are 1961 WSU graduates...Ken was a boxer and member of the Cougars track team...plans to major in engineering.
