PRE-WSU CAREER. Competed at City College of San Francisco...one season as a cornerback for football coach George Rush...two seasons for track coach Douglas Owyang...won 2010 Northern California Community College Championship in long jump with collegiate-best mark of 7.30m/23-11 1/2...runner-up with PR time of 22.40 in 200m at same event...led team to conference title...freshman season ran PR 100m time of 10.67 for sixth place at 2009 NCCCC...also ran on 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams...Competed as a junior at DII Angelo State (San Angelo, Texas)...at the 2011 NCAA DII Outdoor Track and Field Championships finished ninth in the long jump (7.24m/23-9) and 15th in the triple jump (14.15m/46-5 1/4w).
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned seven varsity letters at De Anza High...three as a running back in football...three as a point guard in basketball...one in track and field for coach Henry Hebert...in football set school record for longest interception of 103 yards as junior...senior gridiron season was listed among Top 100 running backs...during prep track career, as senior won long jump at Alameda Contra Costa Athletic League championship with leap of 23-4, a school record distance...team won ACCAL title...won long jump championship at NorCal Meet.
PERSONAL. Born in July 1989 at Vallejo, California...parents are Steven Rogers and Francesca French...older brother Cordell Fleming...majoring in general humanities at WSU.
