WSU CAREER. REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2004-05): Indoor - Second in prelims of 400m dash at MPSF with PR of 47.59 but did not finish finals race after suffering a hamstring cramp 100m into race (2/27/04, Seattle)...Outdoor - Ran 48.22 in the 400m for second place at the UW Dual meet...was the 4x400m relay anchor for eighth place of the 3:10.43 time at the Pac-10 Championships (5/15/04, Tucson)...ran lead leg of sixth place 4x400m relay team at NCAA West Regionals with PR time of 3:09.63 (5/29/04, Northridge).

SOPHOMORE (2002-03): Indoor - Redshirt season...Outdoor - Redshirt season.

FRESHMAN (2001-02): Indoor - Top Cougar runner in 400m with time of 48.07i (2/2/02, Moscow)...member of distance medley relay (DMR) that ran 10:05.44i for Freshman School Record at McDonald's Last Chance Meet (3/2/02, Moscow)...finished eighth in the 400m at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships...Outdoor - Ran 47.90 time in 400m at UCLA, Cal meet (3/16/02, Los Angeles)...clocked in at the Stanford Invite with a 200m time of 22.19 (3/30/02).

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Track and field standout at Long Beach Poly High for coach Don Norford...three-time Moore League 400m champion and two-time 800m champion...top prep 400m time was 48.5...best 800m time was 1:54.11...the Jackrabbits' 4x400m relay team won league, CIF titles junior year, placed second in Masters meet and third at state championships...named SchoolSports.com Athlete of the Week as a junior...senior year 1600m relay placed third at Penn Relay finals and third at CIF Div. I finals, fifth at Masters meet, 12th overall in state.

Born Wendell Cason, 8/6/83, at Eugene, Oregon...father Wendell is a contractor who played football for Oregon and professionally for the Atlanta Falcons...mother Deborah is an accountant...brother Antoine is a freshman starting DB on the University of Arizona football team...sister India...uncle John Rambo was an Olympic high jumper...cousin Kenyon Rambo played football for the Dallas Cowboys...enjoys computers and video games...graduated from high school with a Silver Tassel for 3.0 - 3.3 GPAs...planning to major in computer science.
