PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Jill Noe scored a season-high 20 points to lead No. 12 Arizona State (21-3 overall, 11-2 Pac-10) to a 66-41 win over Washington State (5-18 overall, 1-12 Pac-10) Saturday.
Noe hit all seven of her field-goal attempts, including four 3-pointers, and both of her free throws for the Sun Devils. She added eight rebounds.
Adriane Ferguson led Washington State with 10 points.
Arizona State led 35-15 at the break and scored the first seven points of the second half.
Senior forward Kate Benz picked up four rebounds to move into sole possession of second place on WSU's all-time career rebound list. With 856 rebounds during her four years at WSU, Benz passed Janet Kusler's total of 853 and is only 20 rebounds shy of claiming WSU's all-time rebound title.
Ebonee Coates picked off a career-high six steals for the Cougars who had 14 total Saturday.
As a team, WSU shot 73 percent from the free throw line.
The Sun Devils shot 49.1 percent from the field and allowed a season-low in points.
Washington State will travel to face nationally ranked Pac-10 opponents Stanford and California. The Cougars and the Cardinal take to the hardwood Thursday, Feb. 8 at 7:00 p.m. WSU and California play Saturday, Feb. 10 at 2:00 p.m.
