SEATTLE, Wash. -- Southern California placed five golfers in the top 10 to
easily outdistance the rest of the field at the Edean Ihlanfeldt
Invitational, played at the Sahalee Country Club. Washington State finished
11th in the powerful 13 team field.
Junior Jennifer Dodd (Porland, Ore.) shot a three round 239 and tied for
33rd overall to lead the Cougars. Senior Jennifer Dodd (Portland, Ore.) had
a 54-hole total of 245 and finished in a tie for 44th.
Pepperdine's Tamie Durdin (69-71-68---208) stretched her second round lead
by firing a third round four-under par 68 to capture the individual title.
Tulsa's Stacy Prammanasudh (72-72-71---215) finished seven strokes back to
take second.
Southern California's Leila Chartrand (220), Candie Kung (222), Maikaela
Parmlid (222), and Nicole Dalkas (223) swept the fourth through seventh
place positions to lead the Women of Troy to their fourth Edean Ihlanfeldt
Invitational title and first since 1986. Pepperdine shot a three-round 899
and finished 22 shots back to place second. Stanford rounded out the top
three with a three-day team total of 903.
