Steve Yen is a volunteer strength and conditioning coach for the Cougars having worked with the women's golf program for the past 17 years. He is Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Level 1 and 2 certified, USA Weightlifting Level 1 certified, and landmine University level 1 .Â
Yen is a graduate of Washington State, earning his degree in Kinesiology in 2005. He has been involved with strength and conditioning at WSU for over 19 years, beginning as a student strength intern throughout his undergraduate time at WSU and then as the staff intern in 2006.Â

He is joined in Pullman by his wife Megan and the sons, Oliver, Miles, and Theo. Â
