Molly Schotzko

Molly Schotzko is a scholarly assistant professor at The Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University, recognized nationally for her expertise in integrated marketing communication, brand strategy, and leadership development. Her work focuses on crafting unique brand experiences while fostering inclusivity and belonging. Passionate about preparing Gen Z for success, Molly is reshaping her advertising courses by incorporating innovative digital tools and AI. Previously, as executive director of marketing at WSU, she spearheaded strategic initiatives that contributed to record-breaking undergraduate enrollment. Having two decades of experience, she excels at solving complex communication challenges and building lasting consumer-brand relationships. Beyond academia, Molly is an entrepreneur and co-owner of a successful regional food cart, where she uses her marketing skills to establish consumer-brand connections. A former WSU collegiate athlete, she earned four letters in both track and field and cross country and is an Ironman triathlete. She is also a proud alumna of the Edward R. Murrow College (School) of Communication, continuing to contribute to the field through teaching, mentorship, and industry engagement.
