Hector Treviño

Hector Treviño joined Washington State University in September 2024 as an Event Coordinator. His duties include serving as the liaison between WSU coaches and staff, visiting team coaches and staff, event staff and officials for men and women's golf, women’s basketball and baseball. 

Originally from Houston, Texas, Hector earned his bachelor's of science in education degree from The Ohio State University, where he majored in Sport Industry (2020-2023). During his time in Ohio he was an event coordinator and Buckeye Sports camps assistant for Ohio State Athletics, Facility operations assistant for Columbus Crew, president of the Latine Student Association, and a Morrill Scholar.

Hector has been around the industry including being part of the NCAA Minority Mentorship Program, NCAA Emerging Leaders DEI intern for Major League Soccer and was the McLendon Minority Leadership Fellow at Harvard University.
