Ashley Hamada

A 2014 graduate of Texas Tech University, Ashley Hamada came to Washington State in 2015 as a strength and conditioning specialist.
 
Prior to Washington State, Hamada interned with Michigan State University as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. She oversaw men and women’s swim & dive and women’s tennis. She completed her graduate assistant role with Texas Tech, as she assisted with six athletic programs.
 
Hamada was a four-year student athlete for the Texas Tech softball team, which culminated with her being a finalist for the 2012 NCAA Woman of the Year.
 
Hamada has been Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Association since 2013. She is also Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Level 1 Certified, USA Weightlifting Level 1 Certified, and a Certified Speed and Agility Coach (CSAC).
 
Hamada earned her master’s degree in exercise sport science and her bachelor’s degree in health, exercise and sport science from Texas Tech.
