CAREER: Finished career with singles record of 73-35 and doubles mark of 29-17…2022 All-Pac-12 Conference Honorable Mention…four-time ITA Academic Achievement Award recipient and three-time Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll member… one of 10 female student-athletes nationally, and only tennis player, selected as 2021 Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar.
SENIOR (2021-22): 2022 All-Pac-12 Conference Honorable Mention…named ITA Nnorthwest Region Most Improved Senior…finished the season with 21-12 singles record, 6-3 in Pac-12 play, mainly at No. 2… went 21-11 in doubles overall, 6-3 in conference matches… was 4-1 in doubles with Michaela Bayerlova and 11-5 with Elyse Tse…she and Tse were 3-1 at No. 3 in Pac-12 action…won singles match against 50th-ranked Jessica Alsola from California… went 3-0 in singles against Washington’s Nina Zupancic during season…had clinching victory against Colorado, rallying from 4-6, 0-5 down to save three match points and eventually win 4-6, 7-5, 6-4 in 4-2 WSU victory…went 6-3 in three-set matches…season-best five-match winning streak to open season…reached fourth round of ITA Northwest Regional in the fall…finished career with singles record of 73-35 and 29-17 doubles mark.
JUNIOR (2021): Finished the season with a 18-6 singles mark and 0-1 doubles record… went 7-3 in conference play… best win of the season came vs No. 15 Baylor, beating Audrey Boch-Collins… was the match-clincher to upset No. 15 USC, 4-3…marked the second victory over USC in program history… had straight-set win over Stanford’s Janice Shin in dual match…had a 7-match win streak early in the season… went 6-4 at No. 4 and 12-2 at No. 5… was named to the 2021 Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll… one of 10 female student-athletes nationally selected as 2021 Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar...2021 ITA Academic Achievement Award.
SOPHOMORE (2019-20): Finished the season with a 16-10 singles record and 6-4 doubles mark…went 8-6 in dual matches, mainly at No. 3, going 7-6, also 1-0 at No. 2 before season was stopped due to COVID-19 pandemic…won both matches in conference-opening weekend, defeating Colorado and Utah in straight-sets…defeated No. 114 Britt Pursell of Denver in the first round of the 2020 ITA Kickoff Classic…represented Vietnam at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games, capturing the Silver Medal...ended the fall with a 7-3 singles record and 5-4 doubles mark…reached the Crimson Flight singles final at Cougar Classic, falling to teammate Hikaru Sato in marathon three-set match…reached doubles final at Cougar Classic with Carla Quadflieg...reached the third round of the ITA Northwest Regional, one of only two Cougars to win two matches... named to 2020 Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll and received ITA Ac ademic Achievement Award.
FRESHMAN (2018-19): Finished her freshman season with an 18-7 singles record, 2-1 in doubles...joined the season in January and went 15-7 in dual matches and 2-4 in Pac-12 play...played in the middle of the lineup, going 11-7 at No. 4 and 4-0 at No. 3...began her Cougar career by winning her first eight matches, also had seven-match win streak midway through the season...had four match-clinching victories, including at Kansas State and vs. BYU...recorded Pac-12 wins over Colorado and Arizona...went 1-1 in doubles with Aneta Miksovska and 1-0 with Jovana Knezevic... received ITA Academic Achievement Award.
 
JUNIOR CAREER
Ly-Nguyen was one of the top juniors in her Canadian province throughout her career...finished fifth at the U18 Indoor Provincials and U18 Outdoor Tennis Nationals in 2015, and was a doubles semifinalist at the U18 Indoor and Outdoor National Championships in 2016...also finished fourth in the U18 Nationals in 2017...won three women’s national singles and doubles tournaments in Vietnam over the past two years and represented Vietnam at the 2018 Asian Games.
