WASHINGTON STATE CAREER
Freshman (2025) – Joined the Cougs in July ahead of the 2025 season.
 
HIGH SCHOOL & CLUB CAREER
As a senior at Long Beach Poly HS, led the Jackrabbits to the Moore League title and the CIF D-III Championships… earned All-CIF-Southern Section First Team…named Under Armour Next All-American and Moore League Player of the Year…also played flag football for LBPHS, earning League Player of the Year…named a finalist for the NFL’s Maxwell National Player of the Year, and won the NFL Chargers’ LaDanian Tomlinson Player of the Year, earning All-CIF-SS, and competing in the national flag football championship in Canton, Ohio…also competed in basketball and softball for Poly HS…helped the softball team win first CIF-SS championship…named Athlete of the Year by Long Beach Century Club…named the Multisport Athlete of the Year for Los Angeles by the 562, renaming the award in Aaya’s honor in August 2025, becoming the Aaya McLyn Multisport Athlete of the Year honor…played club soccer for Legends FC.
 
PERSONAL
Daughter of Tyree and Virgil…mother was a college volleyball player at Wyoming…older sister played at WSU under Coach Shulenberger from 2017-22, including the Cougars’ trip to the 2019 College Cup, finishing her career with 5,934 minutes played and 75 career starts.…older sister Aasha played at California from 2021-24, appearing in 26 matches with two starts for the Golden Bears.
