HIGH SCHOOL: earned three varsity letters in softball...was captain senior year...team placed ninth at State junior and senior years...three years all-league honorable mention at catcher.

PERSONAL: Janelle Malama...born July 1, 1987 in Redwood City, Calif...parents James, works as a mechanic, and Carol, works as a corporate accountant...older brother Ryan...younger sister Shelby...interested in sport management.
