SOPHOMORE (2013-14): Indoor - Breakthrough year…threw 35-lb weight a PR distance 18.02m/59-1 1/2i for eighth place at the MPSF Championships (3/1/14, Seattle)…Outdoor - PR hammer throw of 58.93m/193-4 was tossed at the WSU-UW Dual (5/3/14, Pullman)…finished a disappointing 10th in hammer at Pac-12 Championships (54.82m/179-10).
 
FRESHMAN (2012-13): Indoor - Tossed 35-pound weight a PR distance of 16.80m/55-1i at Idaho Collegiate II (2/15/13, Moscow)…finished 13th in the weight throw at Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships (15.64m/51-3 3.4i)…Outdoor - Led the team with hammer throw of 52.83m/173-4, thrown at Pepsi Invitational (4/6/13, Eugene).
 
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned eight varsity letters at Snohomish High…three letters as a tackle for football coach Mark Perry…one letter for wrestling coach Bob Zable…four letters for track coach Jay Adams…on gridiron was voted most inspirational, captain’s award and All-Wesco…sophomore year was runner-up in discus at district meet and fourth place at state 4A championships with toss of 148-7…junior year discus winner at Wesco League Championships…won Regional title with discus throw of 160-6, went on to take ninth place at state 4A championships…best hammer throw of season was 163-7…finished seventh in hammer at state meet…named all-conference…senior season was runner-up in discus at league and district championships, and 11th at state meet…heaved hammer PR of 184-8…finished fifth at state championship…named all-conference second team in track.
 
PERSONAL. Born in December 1993, in Everett, Washington…father Dave is a shop foreman and programmer…mother Kim is a medical office manager…older sister Jessica...majoring in criminal justice at WSU.
