Alanna Newsom joined Washington State University Athletics in 2018, and currently serves as Assistant Athletic Trainer for both the women's and men's cross country and track & field programs.Â
Newsom is currently a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association beginning in 2012. She is also holds membership within the United States of America Track and Field organization since 2019.
She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from Slippery Rock University in 2014, and earned her Master's of Public Health Degree from New Mexico State University in 2017.
Alanna is married to Zach Newsom, a Volunteer Cross Country and Track & Field Coach at the University of Idaho. Together they have one son, Fall Newsom along with their family cat, Milo.Â
