WSU CAREER. FRESHMAN (2014-15): Indoor - Leaped to triple jump collegiate PR distance of 14.43m/47-4 1/4i for 10th place at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships (2/28/15, Seattle)…Outdoor - Season-best jumps came at the WSU-UW Dual meet…long jumped 6.17m/20-3 and triple jumped 14.28m/46-10 1/4 for the second consecutive week after reaching that mark at the Cougar Invite (4/25/15, Pullman)…at Pac-12 Championships, triple jumped 14.15m/46-5 1/4w for 13th place.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned four varsity letters at Garfield High School as a jumper for track and field coach Kwad Griffen…as a freshman won the KingCo JV meet triple jump (38-0)…junior year was runner-up in triple jump at the KingCo 4A league meet, third place at District meet and sixth place at state 4A championships (43-6)…senior season won triple jump at the KingCo league meet in a non-wind-aided 48-2 and was runner-up in long jump (PR 21-9)…won Regional meet triple jump, and was runner-up at state 4A championships with PR triple jump leap of 48-6w…broke high school’s triple jump record.

PERSONAL. Born in December 1995, in Tacoma, Washington…father DeWitt Harris is an educational instructor through Seattle Parks & Recreation who competed in track and field at University of Washington…mother Heather Nash is a contact representative…older brothers Raheem and Kalieb…older sister Nhautrey…younger sisters Akoiya, Lyric and Vashti…uncle Mark Patterson played football at WSU and then professionally for Detroit and Denver…graduated from Garfield with academic honors…member of Black Student Union, College Success Foundation, Urban League Y-Scholars, Smart Start Program…was one of eight students of color in City of Seattle to pass AP computer science…planning to major in business finance and minor in entrepreneurship.
