WSU CAREER. SENIOR (2016-17): Indoor - Redshirt season…REDSHIRT JUNIOR: Outdoor - Won the Pac-12 Heptathlon title (5638 points) for the second time in her career…reached PRs in 100m hurdles of 14.06 and 200m dash of 24.83 in the heptathlon competition (5/14/17, Corvallis)…also competed in individual events of javelin (11th), 400m hurdles (10th) and high jump (10th)…at NCAA West Region in 400m hurdles placed 21st in prelims (59.99) and 17th in quarterfinals (59.28)…at NCAA Championships placed sixth in the heptathlon with 5,658 points…All-America first team honor…named to Pac-12 T&F All-Academic honorable mention team.
 
JUNIOR (2015-16): Indoor - At the Cougar Indoor (2/5/16, Pullman) scored a PR 4,101 points in pentathlon, third-best in school history after reaching PRs in 60m hurdles of 8.81i, in high jump 1.76m/5-9 1/4i, in shot put 12.10m/39-8 1/2i and in long jump 5.60m/18-4 1/2i…her 800m run was in 2:19.80…at MPSF Championships, finished third with 4,027i points after PRs in 60m hurdles of 8.77i, in shot put 12.45m/40-10 1/4i and 800m time of 2:16.50i (2/26/16, Seattle)…Outdoor - Redshirt season…applied for medical redshirt after competing in two early meets.
 
SOPHOMORE (2014-15): Indoor - Ran 60m hurdles PR time of 8.83i in route to PR in pentathlon of 3,776i points for fifth place at the MPSF Championships (2/27/15, Seattle)…pentathlon total is fourth-best in WSU all-time records…Outdoor - REACHED PRs IN ALL NINE EVENTS COMPETED IN THIS SEASON…won Pac-12 Combined Events Championships heptathlon title with 5,803 points (5/10/15, Los Angeles)…heptathlon total is fourth-best in WSU all-time…during heptathlon tallied PRs in 100m hurdles (13.96), high jump (1.70m/5-7), shot put (11.41m/ 37-5 1/4), 200m (24.91), long jump (5.77m/18-11 1/4), javelin (44.75m/146-10) and 800m (2:13.94)…next week at Pac-12 Championships, ran 400m hurdles in PR time of 58.85 for seventh place…dropped that PR time two weeks later to 58.81 for ninth place at NCAA West Region Prelims (5/30/15, Austin)…time is seventh-best intermediate hurdles time in WSU all-time…at NCAA Championships, finished 18th in heptathlon (5,572 points)…ran a PR 800m time of 2:12.60, fastest time of the 22 competitors…90 minutes after heptathlon concluded, returned to track for 400m hurdles semifinal, finishing 23rd (1:01.10)…named to Pac-12 All-Academic track and field honorable mention team.
 
FRESHMAN (2013-14): Indoor - Set WSU Freshman School Record and the fourth-best mark in WSU all-time in the pentathlon with a PR score of 3,633i points for seventh place at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships (2/28/14, Seattle)…at the MPSF ran a PR time in 60m hurdles of 8.98i, equaled PR in high jump of 1.62m/5-3 3/4i and ran a PR time in the 800m of 2:19.96i to move from 12th to seventh…Outdoor - Scored a PR of 4,987 points at the Texas Relays, finishing 18th out of 24 (3/27/14, Austin)…was runner-up at Pac-12 Championships with a PR of 5,325 points, seventh-best in WSU all-time records…first-day total of 3.042 was also PR and fifth place…tossed the javelin a PR distance of 41.84m/137-3, best distance of the day which moved her into third going into final event…in 800m ran PR of 2:15.05, second-fastest on the day, and propelled to second-place finish…named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic team.
 
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned 12 varsity letters at Pe Ell HS…four as a middle blocker/outside hitter for volleyball coach Eddi Peterson…four as a guard/forward for coach Dawna Robinson…four as a multi/sprinter/hurdler for coach and mother, Karen Brooks…on the volleyball court, named Central 2B All-League honorable mention as frosh and then to first team as sophomore and MVP next two consecutive years…Lewis County All-Area volleyball team as junior and co-MVP as senior…state 2B All-Tournament first team…team took seventh in state in 2012…on basketball court, Central 2B All-League honorable mention as freshman, second team as sophomore, first team junior and senior season…junior year team took state fourth place and senior year finished third…2013 all-state first team selection…during prep track career was four-time state 2B 300m hurdles champion…other state 2B championships finishes included: 200m - first twice and second twice; 100m hurdles - first three times, third once; long jump - first twice and second once; and triple jump - first once…the Pe Ell girls team won team title three consecutive years and was runner-up once…set meet record time in 300m hurdles of 42.84 as senior…set school records in 100m (12.24), 200m (25.46), 100m hurdles (14.44), 400m (57.24), and 300m hurdles (42.84).
 
PERSONAL. Born in August 1995, in Olympia, Washington…father Ken Johnson is an engineer…mother Karen Brooks is a substitute teacher and coached Alissa in track and field…only child…enjoys fishing, hiking and other outdoor activities…named Most Outstanding Freshman Student and Masonic Education Committee Outstanding Junior Student…won math honor award in 2011…Key Club member…graduated with honors…majoring in apparel merchandising design and textile and sport management at WSU.
