Played at Nathan Hale High School…three-year letterwinner in football…as a JUNIOR, earned first team All-Metro League honors at fullback after posting second-highest rushing total in the leage…also named second team at cornerback…as a SENIOR, named first team All-Metro League at fullback after leading the league in rushing…named second team All-League as a corner…selected to play in East-West All Star Game…also lettered four times in track and three times in basketball…earned All-Metro League honors in the long jump as a SENIOR.
