DeVante Wilson begins his first season as an assistant strength and conditioning coach on Jake Dickert’s staff.
Wilson arrived in Pullman after completing a football sports performance internship at the University of Southern California. Prior to that, he served as as olympic sports performance intern at Cal Baptist University, where he earned a master’s degree in kinesiology and exercise science.
Wilson also spent two years as a sports performance coach in southern California.
Wilson was a two-year starter at defensive end for California after transferrring from Riverside Community College. At Cal, he recorded 69 tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks and two forced fumbles in 25 total games. He graduated from Cal with a degree in American/United States Studies/Civilization.
