WSU Athletics Marketing Student Internship 2018-19

Start Date: Saturday, April 9 2018
End Date: Friday, April 26, 2019

Job Description:
The purpose of this internship is to offer current WSU students the opportunity to work in the WSU Athletics Marketing Department during the 2018-19 academic year. This individual will be assigned to the duties and responsibilities within the department as outlined below:
  • Assigned to one sport and one additional duty 
  • Assist with the creation and execution of marketing plans and all activities for assigned sport 
  • Must work all home football games 
  • Must work all home events for assigned sport 
  • Must be willing to assist with non-assigned sports 
  • Assist with community engagement events, including the Football Spring Game, Lentil Festival, National Girls and Women in Sports Day and others as assigned 
  • Assist with ZZU CRU 
  • Fulfill auction and poster requests 
  • Coordinate poster distribution throughout Pullman community 
  • Other duties as assigned
 
Requirements:
Must be a WSU student currently enrolled. Must have an interest in marketing, sport management, communications or a related field. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills; willingness to work days, evenings and weekend hours; demonstrated experience in marketing or a related field and strong computer skills. Graphic design and/or video editing skills (i.e. Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator) a plus.
