PULLMAN, Wash. – A fun-filled day of activities for the entire family with Butch T. Cougar can be found at the third annual Halloween at Washington State Kids Carnival, Friday, Oct. 30 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Beasley Coliseum.
WSU Athletics has teamed up with ASWSU and the Center for Civic Engagement to put on the Kids’ Carnival that will take place from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on the Beasley Coliseum concourse. The booths will be run by students and set up for trick-or-treating and games. The booth that wins the award for “best booth decoration” will win a $500 prize awarded to their philanthropy of choice.
The event is free for all attendees and everyone is encouraged to stay around for the free men’s basketball exhibition game against Lewis-Clark State at 8 p.m. The game will be the first chance for fans to see the 2015-16 squad in competitive action.
Volleyball will host UCLA that Friday as well, at 7 p.m. at Bohler Gym, and the football team will host Stanford, Saturday, Oct. 31 at Martin Stadium with the time still to be determined. Three thousand pillow cases will be given away at the football game for trick-or-treating.
Attendees to both the kids’ carnival and volleyball match may also pick up vouchers for complimentary youth tickets and purchase up to two $15-adult tickets for the Stanford game, Saturday, Oct. 31. Tickets are also available for purchase at 1-800-GO-COUGS.
