PULLMAN, Wash. -- Washington State's women's cross country team was named a United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's (USTFCCCA) 2010 national All-Academic team.
The WSU women's team was one of 192 institutions from 30 conferences which earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country team honors. To qualify as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country team, the team must have had a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or better and have started at least five runners at their respective NCAA regional championship. WSU's team had a cumulative GPA of 3.15.
This is the fourth time the Cougar women's cross country team has been accorded USTFCCCA All-Academic team honors.
