Earned eight varsity letters at Ashland High...ran cross country forcoach Bob Julian Jr....track and field coach Hans Voskes...three-time All-Southern Sky Conference cross country second team selection, first team as senior...named first-team all-state for cross country in 2009...individual qualifier for the Nike Cross Nationals meet..on the track, 2009 state champion in the 1500m (4:02) and 3000m where he ran the state record time of 8:42...injured Achilles tendon kept from competing during senior (2010) track season.
