WSU CAREER
CAREER: Three-year letterwinner…appeared in 31 games…recorded 41 tackles, 2.5 for loss including one sack…recovered two fumbles, forced one and intercepted one pass…graduated with a degree in communications in Fall, 2017.
RS-SENIOR (2017): Appeared in six games before missing final six games with an injury…recorded 22 tackles with 1.5 for loss…made six tackles with one for loss against Oregon State…had four stops against Nevada…made tackles against No. 5 USC…recorded five stops and shared at tackle-for-loss in win at Oregon.
RS-JUNIOR (2016): Appeared in 12 games, playing mostly on special teams…tallied 12 tackles including seven on special teams, tied for second on the team…made four tackles on kickoff and three on punt coverage…made two tackles at Boise State…made one tackle in wins over Oregon, UCLA, at Arizona State, at Oregon State and Arizona…made career-high four tackles including first career sack and first career interception in win over California.
RS-SOPHOMORE (2015): Appeared in all 12 games, all on special teams…recorded six tackles, including four solo, to go with one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries…had solo tackles at Oregon and No. 18 UCLA, both wins, along with Stanford and Colorado…had key forced fumble and recovery at UCLA.
RS-FRESHMAN (2014): Member of team…did not appear in a game.
FRESHMAN (2013): Walked on in fall…redshirt season.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Attended Bellevue High School in Bellevue, Wash….four-year letterwinner and four-time state champion…as a JUNIOR, named second team All-KingCo at linebacker…as a SENIOR, named team captain and earned second All-KingCo league honors after leading team in tackles…BHS named 2012 HUDL National High School Champions…received “Reach of the Stars” scholarship award.
PERSONAL
Born in Bellevue, Wash….parents Robert and Julie…younger sister, Elle…both parents attended WSU, mom, Julie was a member of the crew team…cousin, former Cougar baseball player Derek Jones holds school record for home runs.
