PULLMAN, Wash. (September 6, 2025) - Washington State improved to 2-0 with a 36-13 win over San Diego State at Gesa Field Saturday evening. Checkout the postgame notes from the win.

•     WSU captains; Caleb Francl, Brock Dieu, Raam Stevenson, Joshua Meredith
•     WSU improved to 2-0 for the fourth straight season
•     Jimmy Rogers is the first Cougar head coach to win his first two games at WSU since Mike Price in 1989
•     WSU recorded its first safety since 2021 (blocked punt out of end zone, fog game against Arizona in Pullman)
•     WSU tallied seven tackles-for-loss, three sacks, held San Diego State to 2-of-13 on third downs
