BOISE, Idaho (December 23, 2025) - Washington State closed the season with a 34-21 victory over Utah State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise. Check out the postgame notes from the bowl win.

•     WSU captains; Tucker Large, Brock Dieu, Joshua Meredith, Raam Stevenson
•     WSU finished the season 7-6, won its first bowl game since the 2018 Alamo Bowl (Iowa State, 28-26)
•     WSU rushed for a season-high 255 yards, its ninth straight game with 100+ rush yards and tenth this season
•     WSU set program bowl records for rushing yards (255) and first downs (30)
•     WSU threw for a season-high 373 yards, the third-most in WSU bowl game history
•     WSU's 41 rush attempts were tied for third-most in WSU bowl-game history

•     Christian Hilborn started at right tackle, his 46th career start, sixth-most starts in WSU history
•     Zevi Eckhaus threw three touchdown passes, his six career bowl touchdown passes for WSU, tying Connor Halliday for most in WSU history
•     Ekhaus' 334 passing yards were fifth- most in WSU bowl history and ninth-most in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl history
•     Julian Dugger completed his first pass of the season, went 2-of-3 for 39 yards and rushed for a 34-yard touchdown, his second rushing touchdown of the season
•     Maxwell Woods rushed for a career-high 117 yards, the most by a Coug this season, the third-most in WSU bowl-game history
