Crimson and Gray Game Saturday at Martin Stadium

| By:
PULLMAN, Wash. – The annual Washington State Football Crimson and Gray Spring Game, presented by BECU, will be held Saturday, April 20 at 1 p.m. at Martin Stadium as part of Gameday for Mental Health.

"We are excited to host Gameday for Mental Health on the Pullman campus, highlighted by the Crimson & Gray Game," said WSU Director of Athletics Pat Chun. "Additional events surrounding the game will highlight a great weekend in Pullman. With the assistance of our fan base and tremendous partners like Premera Blue Cross, all proceeds from this game will be directed to the ASWSU Coug Health Fund, which supports campus-wide mental health programming."

All fans in attendance will receive a commemorative poster as a keepsake, with Cougar players and coaches available after the game for autographs on the field. In addition, the first 1,500 fans in attendance at the 2019 Crimson & Gray game will receive beanies and clear bags (the type that will be needed to get through security at all Cougar football games).

Tickets for the 2019 Crimson and Gray Game are $5 for general admission and $15 for club seats with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the ASWSU Coug Health Fund. Included in those proceeds will be a match by Premera Blue Cross up to $25,000 of ticket sales. Current WSU students will receive free admission. Fans can purchase tickets online HERE, or tickets can be purchased at the WSU Ticket Office prior to the game.

"When we think of a large healthcare company like Premera, we think of physical well-being," said Paul Hollie, who heads Premera's Social Impact Program. "But behavioral health plays a significant impact in all of our lives. We're trying to take the stigma and the barriers away from behavioral healthcare," Hollie said. "Taking active steps both on our philanthropic side and business side is something Premera is focused on doing which is why we are proud to be a supporter of the Coug Health Fund."

Fans arriving at Martin Stadium for the game can enter through Gate A and Gate I. All seating in the lower bowl will be on the north side of the field. Those with premium seating tickets will enter through the premium seating entrance on the south side of the stadium.

Returning to Martin Stadium for the first time since the spring of 2010, the Crimson and Gray Game will feature many of the same amenities of a fall football weekend in Pullman. Those include Cougville on Rogers Field prior to the game, concessions, videoboard presentation, along with the WSU Cougar Marching Band and cheer squad.

Cougville will open two hours prior to the game at 11 a.m. while gates to Martin Stadium open at noon. Amenities at Cougville will include a Beer Garden, the Bookie Merchandise Stand and Kid Zone Inflatables.

All general parking campus parking will be free on Saturday April 20, 2019.  Please visit wsucougars.com to see which lots are open. The Beasley lot will be unavailable due to another campus event.

There are many other activities this weekend occurring on the Cougar campus. The Cougar Garage Sale will take place Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. on Rogers Field. The garage sale gives Cougar fans the chance to buy athletic gear that was previously unavailable to the public. Get there early for your chance to buy what the Cougs wear.

Take a run at the Cougar Courage Rugged Run, an approximately 5k (3.1 mile) obstacle race on the WSU campus. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. at the WSU Outdoor Recreation Center (across the road from the SRC) and race heats begin at 9:30 a.m.

The Cougars' tennis team takes on Washington at Noon in the Boeing Apple Cup Series. That match is scheduled for the WSU Outdoor Tennis Courts.
