WSU to Host USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Course

PULLMAN, Wash. -- The WSU Strength and Conditioning Department will host its bi-annual USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Course March 10-11 at the Bohler Athletic Complex.

Coach Michael Conroy will lead participants through complete technical progressions of the Snatch, Clean and Jerk and all associated movements. The course will also cover basic training program concepts and technical rules. The 14-hour course will include nine hours of practical application and up to four hours of lecture-based learning.

The course costs $499 and requires a USA Weightlifting membership. Activities run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 10Â and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 11.
