PULLMAN, Wash.- Australian native Amy Chu has signed her National Letter of Intent with the WSU women's golf team. Chu made it official during early signing, which occurred on November 15.

Chu is well acquainted with international competition, as she has claimed titles in countries including America, Thailand, and Vietnam over the past four years. She has also made a name for herself in her home country as well, holding 11 championship finishes in Australian tournaments.

"We are thrilled to add Amy to our roster next fall. Amy is one of the top players in New South Wales, AUS and will add a wealth of experience as an athlete, leader, and student to the program," Head Coach Kelli Kamimura said, "She has a tremendous work ethic and a winning attitude.  It will be exciting to see what Amy accomplishes during her college career at WSU."

Chu was the South Australian Girls Junior Champion this year, as well as the Harvey Norman Week of Golf girls overall champion. She also claimed the first place title in the Liverpool Women's Cup in September.

Chu will join the Cougars in the fall on the 2018-2019 roster.
