WASHINGTON STATE NOTES

With his first quarter touchdown pass to Brandon Gibson, quarterback Alex Brink gained sole possession of second place on the WSU all-time list for games with a touchdown pass (29)...he finished with four touchdowns passes in the game to raise his career total to 60.

Alex Brink's multi-touchdown game gives him sole possession of second on WSU's all-time career list (17), passing Ryan Leaf.

With 15 completions in the first half, Alex Brink became WSU's all-time career leader...he now has 624...Brink passed Jack Thompson and Jason Gesser.

With 307 yards passing, Alex Brink moved into second place on the WSU career list for passing yards (8,042)...Brink passed Jack Thompson on the list and trails only Jason Gesser for the most in school history (8,830).

Alex Brink's 307 yards passing marked the first time in his career he had back-to-back 300-yard passing games (469 versus San Diego State)...he's had six 300-yard passing games in his career.

Alex Brink moved into second place on the WSU all-time career list with 60 touchdown passes...he passed Ryan Leaf.

With his 21-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter, wide receiver Brandon Gibson has a touchdown reception in six of the last seven games, including one in each of the last four games.

With eight receptions, senior Michael Bumpus moved into sole possession of fourth place on the WSU career receptions list (147).

Michael Bumpus's two touchdown receptions marked the first multi-touchdown game of his career...has six career touchdown receptions.

With 118 yards receiving Michael Bumpus notched his second-straight 100-yard receiving game for the first time in his career...his 118 yards was just 14 yards shy of his career-high 132.

Husain Abdullah's interception marked his seventh career interception and first of the season...is tied for 15th all-time on the WSU career list.

Dwight Tardy has scored in each of the three games this season and four-straight overall.

Dwight Tardy's 108 yards marked his third-career 100-yard rushing game and first of the season...in his previous two games he ran for 96 and 99 yards, respectively.

With two touchdowns, Dwight Tardy notched the first multi-touchdown game of his career...has already matched touchdown total from last season (four).

Charles Dillion's touchdown reception in the fourth quarter marked his first of the season, second of his career.

Aaron Johnson's third quarter sack marked the fifth of his career and his first since Sept. 23, 2006 at Stanford.

Matt Eichelberger's sack was the second of his career...first of the season...first since Sept. 9, 2005.

Chima Nwachukwu's interception was the first of his career...marked the first multi-interception game for the Cougars this season.

The Cougars' 12-second scoring drive in the second quarter marked the shortest of the season. (14 yards, two plays, 12 seconds)...the first one under a minute this year...the 56th scoring drive of less than a minute since 2002.

With scores in all four quarters, the Cougars have now scored in eight-consecutive quarters.

WSU's 14-7 deficit at the end of the first quarter, marked the first time this season the Cougars have trailed a game at the end of the first quarter...WSU notched its second-consecutive come-from-behind victory.

WSU's 31 first-half points is the most points in the first half since last year's 35 against Idaho.

Washington State has scored on drives of 80 or more yards in 28 of its last 29 games...WSU has also scored in 264-consecutive games...longest active streak...fifth-longest all-time...Cougars have scored in 196-consecutive Martin Stadium home games.

The last time the Cougars scored 45-plus points in back-to-back games came in 2005 (Grambling State, 48-7; Nevada, 55-21).

Washington State has won its last 10 games against schools which were members of the Western Athletic Conference at the time of the meeting...includes victories over Idaho each of the last three seasons...last loss was 50-36 at No. 5 BYU, Sept. 15, 1990.

The Cougars have won the last seven meetings with Idaho by a combined 298-93.

Washington State has defeated its last 10 nonconference opponents at Martin Stadium...last loss 38-34 to Idaho, Sept. 23, 2000.

Nine of the Cougars' 10 drives over 60 yards this season have resulted in touchdowns...the other one resulted in a field goal.
