Ron Bennink

Ron Bennink was a three-year letterwinner (1953-55) on the hardwood for the Cougars. He scored 1,222 points in his career, and left Washington State with more than a dozen school and Pacific Coast Conference Northern Division records combined. As a junior, Bennink averaged 17.9 points per game and was named All-PCC First Team. A 6-foot-1 guard, he scored 288 of his 423 points as a senior in conference play to break the Northern Division record the South Dakota native set the year before. Bennink was a unanimous All-Northern Division selection and was named to the All-PCC First Team for the second-straight season.
