Dallas Hobbs

Following five years in a Cougar Football uniform, Dallas Hobbs transitioned to the football staff prior to 2022 as a digital media specialist. He begins his first season as Cougar Football’s Co-Creative Director of Design.

Arriving in Pullman prior to the 2017 season as a defensive tackle, Hobbs earned four varsity letters in the Crimson and Gray, amassing 29 total tackles, with eight tackles-for-loss, three sacks and a forced fumble. Hobbs was a part of  34 victories in a WSU uniform, including trips to four bowl games, highlighted by a 2018 Alamo Bowl victory as part of an 11-2 season.

Hobbs was a true student-athlete, receiving the 2022 Beulah M. Blankenship Outstanding Student-Athlete Award, recognizing contributions to the highest values of athletic expression by sportsmanship, dedication and positive regard for others. He also received the WSU Big Ten Senior Award, given to ten of the top seniors in each graduating class. Hobbs was one of two recipients for athletics.

As a student-athlete, Hobbs was actively involved in numerous groups off the field, including being a representative on the Pac-12 Student-Athlete Leadership Team (SALT) and a graphic designer for the Cougar Athletic Fund (CAF). He was also on the student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC) and leading WSU’s Black Student-Athlete Association (BSAA) as a member of the executive board.

Hobbs earned degrees in digital technology and culture as well as fine arts. He is currently working towards his MBA from WSU.
