Mac Alexander

Mac Alexander begins his first season with the Washington State Football program working with special teams as a graduate assistant.

Last season, Alexander coached the safeties at Tarleton State where he helped TSU go 11-1 with a Lone State Conference title and a No. 4 final ranking. During the 2018 season, Alexander coached at Fort Lewis College working as the defensive coordinator and the defensive backs. Alexander worked the previous four seasons at Colorado Mesa where he coached defensive backs and served as the co-special teams coordinator during the 2016-17 seasons. Alexander spent two seasons as a graduate assistant at CMU (2014-15), coaching the defensive line and defensive backs.

Alexander played defensive back for Colorado Mesa (2009-11) and also played for the Mavericks basketball program from 2011-14. Alexander received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Colorado Mesa in 2014 and his master’s degree in human performance and physical education from Adams State University in 2016.

Alexander married his wife, Chazlyn in 2016.
