Luke Hyde begins his second season on Head Coach Jake Dickert’s staff, serving as an offensive graduate assistant.
Hyde arrived in Pullman having spent the previous two seasons as a graduate assistant at the University of Idaho, working with the offensive line. During the 2021 season, the Vandals led the Big Sky Conference in rushing touchdowns with 28. Hyde also worked closely with fullback Logan Kendall, a two-time First-Team All-Big Sky selection and 2020 Phil Steele Third-Team All-American.
During his undergraduate years at Idaho, he was a three-year letterwinner on the Vandal football team, working as a tight end, fullback and long snapper while also playing special teams.
Hyde received his bachelor’s from Idaho in secondary education, social studies and physical education, and is current working towards a master’ of education, educational leadership at Idaho.
