Jack Ray begins his first season on head coach Jake Dickert’s staff, serving as a defensive graduate assistant.
Ray arrives in Pullman having spent the previous three seasons at the University of Nevada, working with the special teams units. He began in 2019 and spent all three seasons as the direct assistant to the special teams coordinator, working on film breakdown/scouting reports and practice and game evaluations. At the end of the 2021 season, Ray served as Nevada’s interim special teams coordinator for the Quick Lane Bowl against Western Michigan.
Ray began his coaching career as a student assistant at his lama mater, Arkansas Pine Bluff, where he worked with special teams and defense.
Ryan was a two-year starter at long snapper during his playing days. He graduated in 2019 with a degree in accounting.
