Dwain Bradshaw

Dwain Bradshaw begins his third season on the Cougar Football coaching staff as the head strength and conditioning coach.
 
Bradshaw worked the 2019 season as the Director of Football Athletic Performance at Hawai’i, helping UH to a 10-5 mark and Hawaii Bowl win over BYU. Bradshaw’s performance system consists of movement, strength/power, and mental conditioning – all of which are collectively integrated for the enhancement of each position group and athlete individually. 

Bradshaw went to Hawaii from Texas Tech University under now Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury. He spent 2018 as the Director of Multi-directional Movement for the Red Raider Football team while also specializing in the training of defensive backs.

Before working at Texas Tech, Bradshaw was a strength & conditioning coach at the University of Southern California where he helped the Trojans win the 2017 Pac-12 Conference Championship and play in the Cotton Bowl.
 
Bradshaw began his professional career in 2014 as a sports performance intern at his alma mater, Arizona State University, where he also played safety and linebacker. Bradshaw later became a graduate assistant at Auburn University from 2015-17. His primary roles at Auburn were working with defensive backs and assisting in the indoctrination of incoming freshman Stage-0 athletes. Bradshaw also assisted the athletic trainers in the athlete reconditioning and return to play program. He was a key contributor in the return of second-round draft picks running back Kerryon Johnson and defensive back Jamel Dean.
 
Bradshaw holds certifications for CSCCA-SCCC (Strength & Conditioning College Coach), NSCA-CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist), USAW Lv1 (USA Weight Lifting), FMS Lv1 (Functional Movement Screen), MAT Jump Start (Muscle Activation Techniques).

Bradshaw received his bachelor’s degree in exercise and wellness at Arizona State University and his master’s degree in adult education & leadership at Auburn University. He is a native of Chino Hills, Calif.

Bradshaw and his wife, Bailee have one son, Duke and one daughter, Demi.
