Colt Garrett

Colt Garrett begins his second season on Head Coach Jake Dickert’s staff, serving as a graduate assistant on the offensive side of the ball.
 
Garrett spent the 2022 season as an offensive quality control assistant at Western Kentucky, working under current Cougar Offensive Coordinator Ben Arbuckle. Western Kentucky posted a 9-5 record in 2022, defeated South Alabama in the New Orleans Bowl, and finished seventh nationally in total offense and second in passing offense.
 
During the 2021 season, Garrett worked as a graduate assistant coach at Mary Hardin-Baylor, working primarily with quarterbacks. That season, Mary Hardin-Baylor went 15-0 and captured the NCAA Division III National Championship
 
Garrett played quarterback at Texas Tech University from 2016-2019 and at Angelo State University in 2020. He was an All-Big XII Academic Team member from 2016- 2018 and earned all-LSC honors in 2019 and 2020. Garrett graduated from Texas Tech University in 2019 with a degree in kinesiology. He also earned his MBA from Angelo State University in 2020.
