WSU CAREER. Fall 2010: While student teaching in hometown, was runner-up at 39th Annual Portland (Oregon) Marathon (10/10/10)...ran time of 2:52.22 for second place finish in debut at marathon distance...now is in graduate school.
SENIOR (2009-10): Cross Country - Had strong season finishing second on team in every race...placed second at Clash of the Inland Northwest...earned a 25th place finish at Roy Griak Invitational...finished 117th at ISU Pre-Nationals...finished 47th at Pac-10 Championships...closed out senior season with an 82nd place finish at NCAA West Regionals...Pac-10 All-Academic first team for third consecutive year.
WSU CAREER. JUNIOR (2008-09): Cross Country - Competed in six races, including Pre-Nationals, the Pac-10 Championships, Clash of the Inland Northwest, Sundodger Invitational, the Montana Invitational and the NCAA West Regional...finished third at the Clash of the Inland Northwest and 52nd at the Pac-10 Championships...injured and did not run at NCAA West Regional.
SOPHOMORE (2007-08): Cross Country - Competed in four races including Pre-Nationals...finished 60th overall, sixth on team, at Pac-10 Championships (10/27/07, Corvallis)...placed 140th overall, seventh on team, at the NCAA West Regional (11/10/07, Eugene)...named to Pac-10 All-Academic first team...Indoor - Ran the mile, 3k and 5k during season without reaching PR times...Outdoor - Ran PR time in 1500m of 4:45.11 at Cougar Invite (4/26/08, Pullman)...also ran a 3k WSU-UW Dual and a 5k at Joyner-Kersee Invite in LA...named to Pac-10 Track & Field All-Academic second team.
FRESHMAN (2006-07): Cross Country - Ran in every race WSU competed in...emerged as a standout runner for WSU...best finish was second as an unattached runner at Idaho Jamboree...placed 33rd at Sundodger Invite, eighth at Montana Invitational...second on team and 99th overall at Pre-Nationals...41st overall, sixth Cougar to finish at Pac-10 Championships (10/28/06, Stanford)...83rd (sixth on team) at NCAA West Regionals (11/11/06, Portland)...Indoor - Ran freshman school record 5000m time of 17:45.83i (9th place) at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships (2/24/07, Seattle)...set PRrs of 5:13.68i in the mile at the WSU Open (1/19/07) and 10:14.27i in the 3k at the Husky Classic (2/10/07, Seattle)...Outdoor - Established collegiate times in the 1500m (4:45.85) and 5000m (17:28.35).
