IRON COUG CLUB
Each team leader and Strength Coach will have a chance to nominate one of their athletes for our IRON COUG award. This award goes to the athlete that is showing attributes of the Championship Mindset that it takes to compete in the PAC 12 and on a National Stage. Those attributes are as follows:

Surround yourself with people who will add fuel to your drive to succeed. People who are not comfortable with 2nd place. The ones that will not allow you to settle for mediocrity and understand your need to win. The ones who believe greatness is what you deserve. The ones that know you have their backs and you know that they have yours. The ones that practice and train for the person next to them, not just for themselves. If they are not adding value to you, they won’t bring the best out of you. If they are not being honest about your effort and commitment, they won’t bring out the best in you. If they are just telling you what they think you want to hear, they won’t bring out the best in you. The closer you get to greatness, the smaller your circle of influence should become. All you need is a few, the ones that make you better.
