HIGH SCHOOL: Started playing golf in 1995...lettered all four years in golf for the Huskies...team captain as a senior... placed 10th at districts as a junior...had a storybook senior season, leading Othello to a 10-0 league record, winning the district title as an individual and placing second at the state tournament...was named league MVP and first team All-State as a senior.
WSU CAREER:
Freshman (1998-1999): Redshirt season.
RS-Freshman (1999-2000): Played in three events during the spring...best finish was a ninth place showing at the Vandal Spring Invitational, where she shot a career-best 79 in the second round.
Redshirt Sophomore (2000-2001): Played in five events during 2000-2001 campaign...posted career-best 75 in the final round of the Edwin Watts/Palmetto Classic in November...tied for sixth at the Inland Collegiate Challenge.
Junior (Fall 2001):Participated in three events (Ram Fall Classic, Vandal Invitational, Shanico Invitational) during the fall campaign.
PERSONAL: Born Sept. 10, 1979 in Bellevue, Wash...parents Jeff and Teddy Stevens...one sister, Brenda...enjoys golf, swimming, and rollerblading...earned a 3.65 high school GPA... majoring in sport management.
