MEIER'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Played football, basketball and rugby during prep career...football coach David Ruzycki...played defensive end and tight end...team captain of both football and basketball teams senior year...JUNIOR year football team reached Provincial semi-finals in just its fourth year of competition after an absence of more than 20 years...team 5-2...as a SENIOR named offensive MVP in the league as a tight end and 4-back (backfield position)...team MVP...named best back and offensive MVP of the Provincial Senior Bowl...had 58 tackles to lead the league...All-Provincial selection.

Freshman (1995-96): Redshirt season.
RS-Freshman (1996-97): V-letter...played in all 11 games...recorded two tackles, both primary...saw special team duty and some reserve defensive end action.
RS-Sophomore (1997-98): V-letter...played in all 12 games...started two games (UCLA, USC)...recorded 16 total tackles...one sack...career high four tackles, including two for loss (-6) against California...tallied two tackles, both for loss (-2), against UCLA, also returned a blocked punt 38 yards against the Bruins.
RS-Junior (1998-99): V-letter...started all 11 games and finished sixth with 51 tackles...43 were primary or unassisted tackles...tied for second with eight TFL, just one behind the leader...returned a fumble 52 yards for a key score in WSU's season-opening win over Illinois and had a six-yard fumble return at Arizona...had sacks against Idaho and California and blocked a kick at UCLA...in the first four games, he had six TFL, two sacks, forced two fumbles, blocked a field goal and returned a fumble 52 yards...earned the following game awards: Pac-10 Defense - Illinois, California; Cougar Claw - Illinois, BSU, Arizona; Defensive Lineman - BSU, UCLA, USC, Arizona; Most Disciplined Defense - BSU; Defensive Pursuit - UCLA.
