Coached by Troy Starr at Taft High...earned six varsity letters, three in football and one each in basketball, volleyball and track...as a SOPHOMORE earned all-city honors...as a JUNIOR repeated as all-city, along with all-league, All-State and All-American...SENIOR season (2002-03) was again an all-city, all-league, All-State and All-America pick...two-time team captain.

FRESHMAN (2004-05): Spent one season at West LA College, where he played both linebacker and defensive end.

Picked off first career interception against Idaho;
Has 6.5 TFLs in the final five games of the season, including 3.0 sacks;
Recorded six tackles three times, USC, Arizona and ASU.
