MIZIN'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Attended Aberdeen High...coached by Rob Lonborg, earning three football letters as a tight end and receiver and defensive end...four varsity letters in basketball.....SENIOR year named to the All-State second team by the Newberry Prep Report...selected to the All-State team by the Tacoma News Tribune...named to the all-league (Rivers League as a senior, Black Hills as a sophomore and junior) team for the third time...caught 36 passes for 744 yards and eight touchdowns...on defense made 56 solo tackles and led the league with 11 tackles-for-losses and with seven sacks...during career caught a team record 82 passes for 1,560 yards and 21 touchdowns...averaged one TD reception for every four passes caught...3-A Rivers League player of the year...All-Southwest Washington pick.
MIZIN'S WSU CAREER
Freshman (1998-99):  Redshirt season...earned the following game awards: Offensive Scout Team - UCLA, ASU.
RS-Freshman (1999-00):  V-letter...played in 11 of 12 games and started eight, including the last six...took over starting duty at tight end in the fourth game of the season...missed Louisiana game with a  shoulder strain...then returned to start the last six games...caught six passes, including two against both ASU and USC...earned the following team awards: OSU/Offensive Lineman.
