Coached by Ron Morgan in football, earning three varsity letters...has also earned two letters in track as a sprinter and triple jumper...JUNIOR year an All-Western League honorable mention pick...member of 400m and 800m relay teams that both finished third at the National Scholastic Championship meet...relay teams won the Western League 400m and 1600m titles...received All-American, All-State, All-San Diego Section and All-Western League honors in the 200m...as a SENIOR led the team with 26 receptions for 633 yards (24.3 average) and seven touchdowns...also had a team-high three interceptions, returning two for touchdowns...one was for 105 yards, the second longest ever in the San Diego section of the CIF...made 43 tackles and recovered one fumble...Western League second team receiver...team's offensive co-captain.
