Harris and Wordell compete in decathlon at Texas Relays.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned two varsity letters at Post Falls High in track for coach Wade Quesnell...also played basketball and football...as a junior threw shot put 35-9 1/2 and threw discus 132-5...senior season at 5A State Championships took sixth place in discus with PR toss of 154-7 and placed eighth in shot put with PR toss of 48-2.
PERSONAL. Born in September 1993 in Spearfish, South Dakota...father Ardie is a Wal-Mart manager...played football at Black Hills State University...mother Kristi works in human resources at Wal-Mart...older brothers Matt and Ben...Ben played football at Augustana College (SD)...Matt is on the WSU Track team 2012 and 2013...interested in sports science.
