POSTGAME NOTES

--Washington State won first the first time on the road against a top 10 team in 53 games...broke 34-game losing streak overall to top 10 teams...snapped 11-game skid at Washington.

--Washington State used its ninth different starting line-up this season...injured point guard Derrick Low was the only Cougar to start all 11 games in 2005-06 prior to tonight.

--Cougars trailed 29-16 before a 21-4 run over the final six minutes of the first half and first three minutes of the second half gave WSU a 37-33 lead.

--The 71 points scored by Washington are the most by a WSU opponent in a Cougar victory under Dick Bennett.

--Cougars tied team season-high with eight blocks...fifth time this season Cougars have recorded seven or more blocks.
