POSTGAME NOTES
--Washington State trailed 13-7 at the 14:53 mark of the first half before a 12-0 run gave the Cougars a 19-13 advantage with 9:58 remaining in the opening period.
--Kansas State scored its 20th point at the 5:08 mark of the first half...entering today, only BYU (34) scored 20 or more points in the first half against WSU this season.
--Washington State sophomore Kyle Weaver recorded two steals and has at least one in every game this season...leads Cougars with 10 steals this season.
--Cougar junior Ivory Clark collected his fourth foul with 14:29 to play in the game and went to the bench with 13:55 remaining and WSU leading 39-33...Kansas State followed with a 9-2 run to take a 42-41 lead at the 10:06 mark.
--Clark capped an 11-0 Cougar run with a basket at the 4:10 mark of the second half to give WSU a 53-44 lead.
