CAREER: Four-year letterwinner…appeared in 42 games, 31 as a starter…recorded 104 tackles, 6.5 for loss and one sack…had five interceptions, 14 pass breakups, three fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles…returned a blocked field goal 72 yards for a touchdown against Idaho as a junior…will earn humanities degree in Spring, 2018.
SENIOR (2017): Appeared in all 13 games, seven as a starter…recorded 26 tackles including 2.5 for loss with one sack…forced two fumbles and had one pass breakup…started first seven games…had five tackles with a shared tackle-for-loss and forced a fumble in win over Boise State…made season-high six tackles with first career sack and forced a fumble in win over Oregon State…had a pass breakup against Nevada…recorded three tackles in win over No. 5 USC…had a tackle-for-loss in win at Oregon…made three tackles at California…recorded a tackle against Colorado, at Arizona, at Utah and at No. 15 Washington…made two tackles against No. 18 Michigan State in the Holiday Bowl.
JUNIOR (2016): Appeared in all 13 games, starting final 12…recorded 27 tackles including one for loss…had two interceptions and five pass breakups…also returned a blocked field goal for a touchdown…picked off a pass against Eastern Washington…had three tackles including one for loss at Boise State…returned a blocked field 72 yards for a touchdown in the win over Idaho…had two tackles in the win over Oregon…made three stops in the win at No. 15 Stanford…had season-high five tackles and an interception in the win over UCLA…recorded three tackles and two pass breakups in the win at Arizona State…made two stops in the win over California…had two tackles against No. 6 Washington…made two tackles against Minnesota in the Holiday Bowl.
SOPHOMORE (2015): Played in all 13 games, 10 in a starting role…totaled 43 tackles, added three interceptions, six pass break-ups and three fumble recoveries…his three interceptions tied for eighth in the Pac-12 while his nine passes defended tied for 14th in the conference.…first career interception came in win at Rutgers, added five tackles, all solo…had a seven-high seven tackles, interception and two pass break-ups at California…also had interception, which he returned 66 yards, with one tackle in Apple Cup…had six tackles and a nine-yard fumble recovery in win over Arizona State…had four tackles and a pass break-up in win at No. 18 UCLA…also had four tackles in wins at Oregon and against Oregon State…had a fumble recovery in the Sun Bowl win over Miami.
FRESHMAN (2014): Enrolled at WSU in Jan., 2014 and participated in spring drills...earned a varsity letter after appearing in three games, starting the final two…tallied eight tackles including two for loss…broke up two passes…did not play in first nine games…made collegiate debut in win at Oregon State…made first career start and recorded first career tackle at No. 13 Arizona State, posting three tackles, one for loss and broke up a pass…started, made five tackles including one for loss and broke up a pass in Apple Cup.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Attended El Cerrito High School in El Cerrito, Calif….former Cougar great Lamont Thompson was position coach…as a JUNIOR, earned All-East Bay first-team honors…recorded 10 touchdowns and picked off seven passes…as a SENIOR, named to All-East Bay first team…rated three stars by ESPN.com, Rivals.com and Scout.com…ranked No. 75 cornerback prospect in the country by Scout.com in 2012.
