Academic Services April Student-Athletes of the Month

PULLMAN, Wash. (May 21, 2024) – Washington State's Franklin Lydra (Men's Golf) and Johanna Teder (Women's Basketball) were each named the Academic Services Student-Athletes of the Month for April 2024.

Lydra, a junior from Melbourne, Australia owns a 3.65 grade-point-average while majoring in accounting and management information systems. On the course this season, Lydra appeared in a pair of tournaments at the Oregon State Invitational and at The Goodwin hosted by Stanford. Last season, Lydra was named to the Pac-12 Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll.

Teder, a fifth-year guard from Tartu, Estonia owns a 3.80 GPA while working towards a second degree in digital technology and culture and advertising with a minor in art and graphic design. Teder sat out this past season due to injuries but stayed committed to the program, attending every practice and participated in a number of community service events in addition to working Cougar Pursuit events. Teder is a two-time Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll selection, was a CSC Academic All-District Team last season after appearing in 34 games and finished her Cougar career sixth in program history with 154 career made three-point field goals.
