PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State dropped it's regular season finale to Wyoming 15-14 at Gesa Field Saturday evening.Â
TEAM NOTES
•     WSU finished the regular season with an 8-4 record, the most wins since 2018 (11-2)
•     WSU is headed to its eighth bowl in the last nine full seasons
•     WSU finished the regular season with a 5-1 record at Gesa Field
•     WSU recorded three takeaways (INT, 2 FUM) to push season total to 22, the most since 2021 (29)
•     WSU set season highs in sacks (6) and tackles-for-loss (11), the most in both categories since 2022 (Colorado State - 7, 12)

•     John Mateer completed 16-of-22 passes for 182 yards and one touchdown, his 10th game with 1 pass TD and 1 rush TD
•     Mateer rushed for 56 yards and one touchdown, pushing his single-season record for rushing TD by a quarterback to 15, the second-most rushing touchdowns by any player (16, Jerome Harrison, 2005)
•     Mateer's 29 passing touchdowns are ninth-most in WSU single-season history

•     Buddah Al-Uqdah made a team-high eight tackles, 1.5 for loss and recovered two fumbles
